probs uppin FSB

tryed to up me FSB.. but didnt like me at all.. i got a Soltek sl-75jv runnin me ol trusty AMD 1 gig with 512 SD ram.. i put the FSB with a minute increase, upto a whopping 103 (note sarcasm) (default is 100) and it started to proform its tasks after the reboot.. how ever when tryin to get it to start up windows.. it wouldnt do it at all.. no matter how long i waited it wouldnt start up winblows.. any ideas of how to fix this mate?

:) Do you have a Duron in there? :wub: If so, Try dropping your memory settings in yer bios, and if possible, snap a pic of your bios screens, and I'll recommend some settings :)

na, the old core Athlon (not XPeee) ill take a few snaps for ya in a few mate.. should have em for ya before i goto bed..

Try turning off: Fast Writes Video Ram Cacheable Try changing your boot priority to HD-0 to speed up yer boot and try changing you CPU/PCI clock to 133/ around 33 pci most hardware doesn't like over 37 pci :)

just peeped the clock speeds, heres the following options.. 100/33 103/34 105/35 112/37 115/38 120/40 124/41 and my multiplier is locked at 10x.. (thats what its set to on the mobo, and i havent unlocked me CPU, dun wanna :P)
